Mechele R. Dillard is a freelance writer and former newspaper features editor, living in Ellijay, Georgia. She is currently pursuing her B.A. in English at Kennesaw State University, which she expects to complete during 2007. At KSU, Mechele had the opportunity to work as an assistant to reading and young adult literature specialist, Dr. Faith H. Wallace. During her tenure with Dr. Wallace, Mechele developed a passion for young adult literature, and is now working hard on her first YA novel. Mechele is also a book reviewer for the popular online site, TeensReadToo.com.
